"An oaky version, this reveals cherry, currant and iron notes, with vanilla and smoke accents. Firm and toned, finishing long. Flamboyant in style. Drink now. 100 cases imported."

"Aromas of ripe cherries, black raspberries, spices and rose hips introduce the 2017 Volnay Village, a medium to full-bodied, velvety and fleshy wine with a succulent core of fruit, powdery structuring tannins and ripe acids. This is a charming, nicely balanced Volnay that will have some aging potential."

"Typical of the opulence of a juicy Volnay, this wine is generous and full of black fruits. The fruits combine with a backdrop of tannins and with plenty of acidity to give a ripe wine that will be ready from 2020."
