Overview

Maison Olivier Leflaive takes great pride in the quality and value of their selections from the Côte Chalonnaise. These villages are situated to the south of the Côte de Beaune and represent a lighter, more fruit driven style of Chardonnay. Olivier Leflaive produces several cuvées from the villages of Montagny and Rully. Terroir: Facing East / South-East, this terroir is part of the most historic white wines of the village. The subsoil is limestone marly and covers the whole of vineyard area in a slope. Wine produced from one supplying with vines of different ages. Vinification: At their arrival in our cellar, the grapes are immediately and carefully pressed with a pneumatic press. 100% destemmed grappe.

"Quite a richly textured wine with pronounced vanilla oak, but also stacks of pear and lime aromas. At once generous and very fresh on the palate, this makes a bold statement. Quite some power, but the grapefruit and lime freshness at the finish is invigorating. Drink or hold."
