Overview
Terroir: Leflaive's 1er Cru Epenots is sourced from parcels in Les Petit Epenots on the border with Beaune as well as Les Grand Epenots. The vineyards enjoy an ideal south-southeast exposure on well drained soil of stones, clay and limestone.
Vinification: Grapes are hand harvested prior to fermentation and aging in a combination of new and used oak barrels and stainless steel.
Additional Details
Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, pepper, and a solid but delicate structure. It is considered as the softest of the A.O.C. Pommard.Technical Details
