Bourgogne Rouge Cuvée Margot 2018

Olivier Leflaive

Like it’s sister wine -Bourgogne Blanc Les Sétilles- the Bourgogne Rouge Cuvée Margot represents an incredible value within it’s category.

Terroir: The Cuvée Margot is sourced from a variety of terroir within the Côte de Beaune with a large percentage sourced within the village of Pommard. Soils are a combination of limestone and clay.

Vinification Following a strict sorting of grapes and long cool fermentaion the wine is aged in a combination of oak (60%) and stainless steel with no more than 20% of the barrels being new.

Stainless steel aging helps to retain the freshness and vineyard character of the final blend producing a wine of great purity and character.

Additional Information

A flattering nose with aromas of small red berries (strawberry, raspberry). A fresh and elegant palate with crunchy fruits and fine tannins.
