Olivier Leflaive - Auxey-Duresses AC 2019

Overview

Terroir: Auxey-Duresses is a cuvée vinified from the nearest named places of Meursault (Macabrée, Hautés, Boutonniers, Vireux, Closeaux, La Canée). Soil consists of calcareous clay and limestone. Vinification: Harvesting is done 100% by hand. Once grapes arrive in the cellar, they are immediately and carefully pressed with a pneumatic press. The wine spends 12 months aging, 3 of which are spent in stainless steel. Once finished, the wine is transferred to 100% oak barrels (15% new oak).
