Terroir: Auxey-Duresses is a cuvée vinified from the nearest named places of Meursault (Macabrée, Hautés, Boutonniers, Vireux, Closeaux, La Canée). Soil consists of calcareous clay and limestone.

Vinification: Harvesting is done 100% by hand. Once grapes arrive in the cellar, they are immediately and carefully pressed with a pneumatic press. The wine spends 12 months aging, 3 of which are spent in stainless steel. Once finished, the wine is transferred to 100% oak barrels (15% new oak).

"This appellation is sometimes overlooked, but for white wines it is star. This is a ripe, full wine, toasty from wood aging and with rich apricot fruit cut by lemon acidity. It is balanced, full of fruitiness and will be ready to drink from 2019."

"A sleek, lime-tinged white, with grace notes of spice and mineral. Stays lively and lingers on the finish. Well-balanced, in a linear style. Drink now through 2020."

"This is very firmly reduced at present and aromatically unreadable. On the plus side there is both excellent volume and plenty of sappy dry extract to the medium-bodied flavors that exude subtle notes of minerality and warmth on the dry if not especially complex finish."
