Cantine Maschio - Prosecco Brut (NV) DOC
Overview
Terroir: The Prosecco region is situated between the Adriatic Sea and the foothills of the Italian Alps. Sandwiched between mountains and sea, the hilly vineyards of the region enjoy a temperate climate and elevated rainfall, which favors the production of the Glera grape. Vinification: Gentle pressing of the grapes to extract only the free-run juice from the heart of the berry. Then the juice is left to rest in stainless steel tanks and after approximately 12 hours the limpid part of the must has separated from the deposit and fermentation begins. Vinification takes about 15-20 days and is completed in stainless steel vats kept at a constant temperature of 65- 68˚F to develop a natural perlage.Additional Details

"Riunite’s entry into the Prosecco game offers an edgy, fresh peach and peppercorn-scented sparkler. It’s bright with the greenness of chlorophyll and a peppery burst in the end. Delicious with prosciutto."
