Languedoc Blanc 2015

Hecht & Bannier

The Hecht et Bannier Languedoc Blanc is an organic blend of two southern French varietals which complement each other: Picpoul Blanc and Roussanne. Bordering the Etang de Thau along the Mediterranean coast, they have the benefit of relatively cool terroirs on which vines “stare” at the sea. Throughout the summer this mild maritime influence enables the grapes to preserve their natural acidity. Both varietals being late ripening grapes they fit the Mediterranean climatic conditions. They allow the aromatic flavors preservation until the harvest at the end of September or early October for some Picpoul. This wine is aged 100% in stainless steel tank.

Additional Information

The Picpoul Blanc brings this crunchy and vivid character, which, blended with the Roussanne citrus fruits and white flowers notes, complete perfectly the aromatic pallet and give us a delightful volume in mouth. Perfect for aperitif between friends, our Languedoc Blanc will accompany tapas, fresh fish and shellfish.
