Bandol Rosé 2020

The Hecht Bannier Bandol is a rosé for fall and winter, based on nearly 60% of Mourvedre, the wine is complex, with more structure than a traditional rosé in Provence. This is a wine of great, even exquisite, finesse which, unlike many rose wines, will age beautifully in bottle. Young, the wine offers the aroma and flavor of blood orange and dried apricot. With bottle age, after five years, the wine will gain in richness, power and depth.

Terroir: Sourced from Mourvedre grown in the finest, coolest and latest-ripening sites of the Bandol appellation.

"Mourvèdre is at the back of this richly textured wine. Spice, pepper and light tannins create a fine setting for the perfumed red-berry and citrus fruits. Drink this food-friendly wine from late 2021. "
