Terroir: With concerns about protecting the environment, Domaine Tariquet has been sustainably managing the vineyards for over 20 years. The estate is certified ISO 14001 and HVE (High Environment Value).
Ageing & Blending: Once distilled in a copper alambic, the wine gives birth to a transparent eau-de-vie. Kept in tanks and not in casks, the eau-de-vie preserves its crystalline color and benefits from the Blanche Armagnac A.O.C. appellation.
At Domaine Tariquet, it is exclusively produced from the Folle Blanche grape, preferred for its finesse and aromatic potential. To be discovered at room temperature, well chilled, neat or in a cocktail.
Superb with raw or smoked salmon, caviar, blue cheese or served as a palate cleanser between courses, locally known as ‘Trou Gascon’.
Fresh, supple and fruity. A nose dominated by fresh pear and lime blossom aromas, revealing notes of salt, almond when the Blanche is allowed to breathe. A fresh sensation on the palate again led by pear with intense black pepper flavors. Persistent spices and hints of plum, green apple building to a strong finish with notes of dried flowers. To be discovered with ice or lightly chilled.
Serving Suggestions: Selected for its fruit and freshness upon leaving the still, the Tariquet Blanche will reveal its full palate of flavors at room temperature or chilled. Superb with salmon carpaccio, smoked salmon or caviar, or served as a palate cleanser between courses, locally known as a ‘trou gascon’.
