Domaine Pascal Jolivet - Sancerre Le Chêne Marchand 2015
Overview
Terroir: Situated 125 miles south of Paris, the Sancerre landscape undulates at an altitude between 650 and 1,300 feet. The Loire River on the Eastern side of the hilly environment creates a relatively temperate microclimate for the wines. Pascal Jolivet's Sancerre Le Chene Marchand comes from a 2.52 acre parcel planted on one of the most beautiful sites in the appellation of Sancerre, with due south exposure in the village of Bué.
Vinification: The grapes are picked and hand selected, then the juice fermented with wild yeasts in stainless steel tanks.
