Domaine Jacques Prieur


Terroir: This 0.6 acre walled vineyard in the heart of Meursault is a monopole for Domaine Jacques Prieur. The vineyard sits in a rather flat position with rich clay soils covering what was once a riverbed.

Vinification: Grapes are hand harvested, strictly sorted and destemmed. The must will sit on the skins for 20 days prior to racking. The wine ages for 12 months of in oak barrels deep in the cellars of Domaine Jacques Prieur.

Additional Information

Ruby-red with slight violet reflections. Floral and fruity with notes of violet interlaced with juicy and savory red cherry, evolving with aeration into spicy and licorice notes. Soft texture with fruity and spicy flavors. Smooth and fine finish with elegant tannins.
