Domaine Faiveley combines the principles of modern winemaking methods with the time honored traditions that have been practiced for centuries within their 19th century cellars. Each terroir and each vintage, benefits from special attention which makes the cuvées unique. Each bottle therefore becomes the faithful reflection of its terroir.

Terroir: 1er Cru La Folatières is located in the heart of the slope of Puligny Montrachet is is arguably the most famous 1er Cru of this appellation.

Vinification: This negociante bottling is vinified and cared for in the same manner as the domaine bottling of Faiveley. The wine is fermented at cool temperatures and then aged in the cellars for 13-15 months in a combination of 1/3 new and 2/3’s used oak barrels.

Additional Information

The nose is very pleasant and charms with its both subtle and enchanting character. There are citrus, floral and dried fruit aromas. This wine is very full on the palate and strikes a balance between smoothness and liveliness. A harmonious wine with long-lasting aromas and flavors.
