Chassagne Montrachet AC 2016


Domaine Faiveley combines the principles of modern winemaking methods with the time honored traditions that have been practiced for centuries within their 19th century cellars. Each terroir and each vintage, benefits from special attention which makes the cuvées unique. Each bottle therefore becomes the faithful reflection of its terroir.

Terroir: Faiveley sources their village level Chassagne Montrachet from many parcels throughout the appellation. Their goal is to source from varying terroirs to produce the most consistent and well structured wine.

Vinification: Grapes are harvest by hand and sorted upon arrival at the domaine. Following primary fermentation the young wine is aged for 14-16 months in a combination of 2/3 new and 1/3 used oak barrels.

Additional Information

A brilliant light yellow color. The nose has great finesse with mineral and light woody notes. This wine is bold, pure, concentrated and balanced on the palate with remarkable length.An elegant and classy white wine, which distinguishes itself by its long-lasting aromas and flavors.
