"The 2017 Chablis Valmur Grand Cru is a wine of elegance, polish and total sophistication. Creamy, ample and beautifully resonant, Moreau's 2017 captures all of the natural radiance that is the principal Valmur signature. Apricot, peach, mint, yellow flowers, honey and a touch of French oak give the 2017 much of its considerable appeal. This is such a racy, expressive wine."

"This is tightly wound, displaying a tensile structure that puts the grip on floral, lemon, mineral and vanilla aromas and flavors. A chalky feel emerges on the finish. Shows potential, with all the components in the right proportions. Fine length. Best from 2021 through 2028. 2,500 cases made, 50 cases imported."
