Cuvaison - Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2019
Overview
Terroir: For decades, Cuvaison has made estate grown wines from our renowned vineyard in the cool Los Carneros region of Napa Valley. This unique and expansive vineyard is planted on some of the region’s most coveted land, offering a unique combination of rootstock, clone, soil type and exposure. With 40 years experience farming our estate, our team has developed an intimate block-by-block approach to cultivating this special vineyard, resulting in an amazing palette of fruit for crafting our estate grown wines.Additional Details
“Our 2019 Estate Sauvignon Blanc is fermented in 100% stainless steel and aged for just six months on its lees to capture its fresh and vibrant flavors. A very aromatic variety, we produced the 2019 Estate Sauvignon Blanc in a style to preserve and showcase the purity of its character. The lees contact gives the wine more volume, while softening its long, sleek finish and displays notes of grapefruit, gooseberry, lemongrass, verbena, linden, and honeysuckle.” – Steve Rogstad, WinemakerTechnical Details

"Lengthy and intense, this estate-grown white is fermented entirely in stainless steel and aged similarly for another six months. Kiwi, honeydew and grapefruit combine around a stony texture of grip and viscosity."
