A restrained style overall, with light toffee, sesame, salted caramel and singed almond notes gliding through, and a twinge of dried orange peel adding cut on the finish. Drink now.

"The NV 20 Years Old Tawny Port is a field blend bottled (in a 500-milliliter bottle) in July 2015 with 102 grams per liter of residual sugar. This takes the "fresh and friendly" avenue. It is a 20 that relies more on complexity and brightness than pure power. The finish is laced with a touch of rhubarb and herbs. It is quite delicious and more gripping on the finish than I thought it might be at first taste. The mid-palate is just average and there is not a lot of "old Tawny" flavor concentration. Yet, this works very well and on its own terms, succeeds on class and finesse. Note that this has a bar top cork."

"Fruity and fresh-tasting, displaying baked apple, pear and dried peach flavors, with hints of pineapple and mango. Mineral and sea salt notes mark the clean, sweet finish."

"This house makes great aged tawnies, as this bottling proves decisively. Aromas are marvelously complex, with dried fruit notes and a nutty undertone that is strongly appealing. Sweet but not obviously so, the wine is absolutely delicious on its own but also sufficiently robust even at this age to work well with many desserts or cheeses."

"Our recommendations for the season's best holiday drinks:
Two rich ports from Churchill's, a relatively new player: Churchill's Tawny Porto 20 Year Old, with suggestions of lavenday and almond, and Tawny Porto 10 Year Old, sweet and nutty."
