Terroir: Located in the alluvial hills in Delle Venezie, Northeast Italy, at an altitude of about 100 meters (325 feet) above sea level.
Vinification: Hand-harvested grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel for about one week with twice-daily pumpings over to obtain color, soft tannins, and optimal extraction. The wine undergoes barrique aging, resulting in a touch of vanilla which increases the wine’s complexity without masking the aroma of this variety. 10% of the wine is then aged in French and American oak barrels for 4 months before blending.
Vibrant ruby red in color, Bolla Cabernet Sauvignon is soft and fruit forward with raspberry and ripe blackberry flavors.
