The 2016 Ciclos is deep red in color with a nose of ripe berry fruit laced with balanced vanilla oak. The wine is full-bodied and driven by sweet berry jam, and spice.

"(from vines at 6,000 feet): Saturated ruby. At once porty and herbal on the nose, offering slightly exotic, oaky scents of cassis, mocha, truffle and Venezuelan dark chocolate. Fat, plush and sweet, showing smoky oak and stewed tomato qualities to its dark fruit flavors. This boasts a plush texture, good depth and smooth tannins but there's too much greenness and not enough balancing energy."
