At once porty and herbal on the nose, offering slightly exotic, oaky scents of cassis, mocha, truffle and Venezuelan dark chocolate. Fat, plush and sweet, showing smoky oak and stewed tomato qualities to its dark fruit flavors. This boasts a plush texture, good depth and smooth tannins but there's too much greenness and not enough balancing energy."
