Hecht & Bannier Languedoc Rosé 2017

Overview

Grapes are sourced from vineyards with soils rich in limestone and clay that border the Etang of Thau, and from schist-rich vineyards from the area around Saint Chinian. Syrah for this Rosé is picked slightly earlier than the rest in order to retain a higher acidity level.

Vinification: The ripe grapes are pressed and vinified exclusively in stainless steel vats.

Additional Details edit

Light brilliant orange. Ripe red berries, orange zest and subtle floral and herbal notes on the fragrant nose. Supple and open-knit, showing good depth to the gently sweet raspberry and tangerine flavors. The floral notes comes back on the smooth, nicely persistent finish, which features a touch of bitter orange pith.
